Hey all, its your loveable little Roxas again!!! (aka ~darkgothcrowgirl)
Alright, it appears we have two photoshoots coming up very soon~!!!
The first, and more urgent of the two, is our Kingdom Hearts on Ice! shoot!!! ^w^
After much discussion, we have worked out a date and time, so here are the details my lovelies:
Theme: Kingdom Hearts at Christmas Time!!!
Time: 11:00am - 3:30pm
Date: Saturday, 12th December 2009
Location: Macquarie Ice Skating Rink
Okay, now after discussion with several members, I think we have decided that we want to avoid double-ups as much as possible...Heh
SO what that means is that everybody is going to have to tell me who they intend on being for this shoot. And another reminder, this is a CHRISTMAS shoot! So try to look Christmas-y.
SO I shall make a list of who is going to be cosplaying who~ It would be MOST appreciated if you could note either this account or my account (~darkgothcrowgirl), just so I can notice quicker and get all of this up ASAP.

The Organization XIII shoot has had much discussion in terms of dates and locations. A suitable time-space was mentioned at our previous Death Note photoshoot. SOOOO we are probably going to conduct this shoot in late January~! ^w^ Locations have also been discussed and one location that keeps popping up as an idea is Cockatoo Island! Now, remember this is only a SUGGESTION, so it isn't certain or finalized or anything. On that note, ~bjmac could you please open a new discussion board on Facebook for that please? Thanks love~!

Im currently a 1st year student studying television and film production who wishes to practice my camera work.
I was wondering if I could become the cameraman for the photoshoots and activities of this group.
I am interested in cosplaying and have cosplayed twice (Kenshin Himura-Rurouni Kenshin and Train Heartnet-Blackcat)but will be honest, im lazy when it comes to making costumesand would prefer to contribute to this group through camera work ant photography.
Also, several of my friends are currently members eg: Jenna Slaverio, Celeste Sleiman etc.

Apparently at your shoot yesterday you were saying... Some 'unsavoury' things. Especially concerning my new Aeris cosplay. Things that went along the lines of this...
"OMG! I hate Catty now because she cosplayed Aeris! Who here likes Aeris?"
Now, this isn't entirely offensive to me, in fact, it's more offensive to a fictional character. However, it is very childish to base assumptions of who a person is on their choice of character.
I do not appreciate being "hated" just because I cosplayed someone. If some of you have met me, and I have honestly done bad things to you, then I understand the hate, and I would apologise. God knows when I am at conventions I am often under a lot of stress, and I am sometimes very abrupt because I need to get somewhere or I'm doing something important. But too hate someone for dressing up as a person who isn't even real? That is extremely immature, ESPECIALLY when it is seen as a group mentality.
I am not particularly upset by what you said, but I am very disappointed that you would be so judgemental, and say such things in front of close friends of mine.
Think before you speak please.

i was there yesterday and was a main part of the incident and i just want to let you know what REALLY happened.
alright, we were talking about characters (not cospalyers) that we disliked, and i brought up Aeris, saying that i didnt like her in the games, i then asked if anybody liked Aeris and only two people put up there hands. one of them, whom was at the shoot at Cockatoo Island then decided to change the subject and said there was a Aeris cosplayer that the Cockatoo shoot (btw, he didnt use your name when he said this) and then someone said something like "why would you cosplay Aeris??".
that was ALL that was said. so i think someone might have overheard our conversation and gotten it mixed up or lost in translation.
none of us were commenting on you as a person, and personally i thought your cosplay looked stunning!

I'm glad that at the very least you have tried to clear this up for me.
I'm still hesitant to believe what you said is true, when more than one person confirmed exactly what has been said, but I do appreciate that you talked to other people about this for me. So thank you very much.
Still, this blatant prejudice towards someone for choosing a certain character is pretty confusing. I really don't know why anyone would feel that way, just because someone cosplayed a character that another person didn't like.
And I've already said no hard feelings. Seriously, I'm not angry. I'm just letting you now what I've been heard because as said before, these things get out, and get out really fast.
